Drinking Water May Help Weight Loss
Many people struggle with losing weight and keeping it off. There are many different fad diets out there, and the general public has no idea what advice to follow. There is no quick-fix solution, but some studies have shown that certain behaviors help promote weight loss.A recent study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition conducted a review of eleven studies to examine if drinking water aids in weight loss. The conclusion was that people who drink more water have greater weight loss; however, people who drink a lot of water in general are not necessarily thinner overall.Drinking water can help decrease feelings of hunger, promote a feeling of fullness, and may increase energy expenditure. There is no down-side to drinking water, so everyone should make sure to drink plenty of water daily and replace other sugary beverages with water. Any diet plan should include an increase in water consumption as well.
