Which Diet Should I Follow>

Many clients find it difficult to decide the best way to lose weight. There are so many popular diets with varying directions. There is intermittent fasting, low carb, low fat, paleo, and carnivore. How are you supposed to know what is right for you?The answer is there is no one right diet. We all have different DNA and different diets work for different people.  Many of my clients do really well with eating for 8 hours and fasting for 16, this does not work for others. If you have any issues with your circadian rhythm, often intermittent fasting is not the right diet. The most important thing is choosing a diet with real, whole foods and eliminating processed foods and sugar. It is also imperative to heal the gut. If your microbiome is not optimal, it will affect your health and your weight. If you would like to try intermittent fasting, there are different types: alternative day fasting, time restricted eating, modified fasting, 24-hours fat, 5:2 diet, and the fasting mimicking diet. Benefits of intermittent fasting include weight loss, blood sugar stabilization, lower inflammation and improved cardiovascular and brain function.
