Eat More Fermented foods

Fermented food are foods or beverages where microorganisms convert food components into other components. The fermentation process increases health benefits , especially since these many of these foods contain prebiotics and probiotics. Examples of fermented foods include yogurt, sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, kombucha, pickles, raw aged cheese, apple cider vinegar and miso.

Fermented foods have been shown to improve digestive health. Additionally, other benefits have been shown, such as decrease cardiovascular disease, reduced risk of diabetes, decreased inflammation, and lower obesity and diabetes.
