FAMILY DINNER HAS POSITIVE EFFECT ON ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH
The Journal of Adolescent Health published a study that examined Canadian adolescents aged 11-15 to determine whether eating more family meals together had an effect on communication with their parents and improved mental health. The study found that those adolescents who had more family meals had better emotional well being and better behavior. The results were the same regardless of age, socioeconomic status or gender.
