We Need Sleep to Stay Thin!

A recent cross-sectional study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham discovered that less than 7 hours of sleep was linked to obesity. They examined whether more time was spent eating and drinking in people who slept fewer hours. The results showed that those who slept less than 7 hours reported an additional 8.7 minutes a day of secondary eating and an additional 28.6 and 31.28 minutes of extra secondary eating and drinking on the weekends. This translates into consuming more calories, which may lead to weight gain and obesity. So don't short change yourself of your  beauty rest. Your health is dependent on it!
